Hello Everyone. This is LEo

Hello everyone, I am Leo Zhao. I was born and raised in China and decided to learn design in America when I was 20 because I think there are more freedom in the design world in America. I go back to China once a year and I always miss the delicious food in China while I am in here. My Chinese name is Xin but most people know me as Leo in here. I am an Industrial design major student with a concentration on product design and development.

The modern designs around me always inspire me. I also always get inspirations from graphic design, fashion design and architectures for the reason that I believed all the designs are connected to each other. I like designers such as Naoto Fukasawa and Charles Rennie Mackintosh because they always have simple and elegant designs.

My recent goal is find a job here after graduation, which is not easy at this time since there are not too many entry-level product design jobs available. My future goal is go to a graduate school to study interior design since that’s what I am always passion about.

Six words describe me: Left-handed, shy, caring, hard working, genuine, and quiet.
